Rounding up the fittings to plumb the PCV system on your Duramax billet valve covers just got easier. Venting your competition engine properly will extend its lifecycle and drastically decrease the chance of oil leaks. This kit is designed to work with valve covers that have 10ORB vents. Will not with with valve covers utilizing tapered pipe threads. Will not work with factory valve covers.
Kit Includes:
(2) -10 O-Ring Valve Cover Fittings (7/8-14 Threads)
(2) 10AN 90 Degree Hose Ends
(2) 10AN Billet Hose Separators
20ft of Shocker Pro-Fit Black Nylon Hose
Compatible With:
WCFab Billet Upper Valve Covers (WCF100415,WCF100416)

Do I really need size 10 crankcase vents?
The answer to this question heavily weigh's on your engines application and power level. The factory PCV system from 2001-2010 provides about 1/2" of measurable area for pressure and vapors to exit the crankcase. This flow is pretty sufficient for daily drivers and customers running moderate boost and rpms. In contrast, high performance engines under heavy load, high boost, high rpms tend to develop more crankcase pressure and combustion vapors. The inability to release that pressure and vapor will cause stress on seals and sealing surfaces, load the underside of piston rings and increase crankcase temperatures. So when it comes to PCV and high performance, bigger is almost always better!
Perspective: Even just 1psi of crankcase pressure typically indicates a engine in poor health.
