Shocker PTFE hose is chemical resistant to alcohols, brake fluid, coolants, fuels, oils, hydraulic fluids, and synthetic lubricants. PTFE hose provides a little less flexibility vs traditional CPE rubber hose, however it withstands much higher pressures. We recommend PTFE lined hose to all our EFI customers. Safe for E85 and high alcohol content fuels. Safe for power steering systems however we always recommend our Stainless Vinyl Coated PTFE for an extra layer of strength and abrasion resistance.
